About Our Workshops

We provide high quality positive personal growth and learning experiences for youth and adults in a variety of workshop, seminar and conference settings, using a blend of our professional experience as trainers, and our passion as musicians.

We believe that music is a universal language and a great healer. There is no "prerequisite" for our programs; no prior musical ability is necessary, or even desired. Music can be a great tool for expression, relief from emotional tension, or just a way to create a feeling of pure joy and living in the moment.

This does not mean we don't teach skills...we do! Lyric writing and song development and performance can be useful tools in development of communications, team-building, leadership and creativity skills.

About the Facilitators

Suzanne Paschall is a pianist, songwriter and singer who has written songs for recording artists like Chantal Chamberland and for the stage. She has performed across Western Canada, and recorded with other bands. She released her first full length CD, Life Sentences, in 2004.

She has a Masters Degree in Continuing Education from the University of Calgary, and has been a professional trainer for 20 years. She has done workshops at youth and Family Millennium Conferences across Western Canada, including northern reserves from Meadow Lake, Wollaston Lake and LaRonge in Saskatchewan to Burns Lake in BC. She has also done training for national and international corporate clients, often utilizing musical components in working with employees of organizations on team building, leadership and communications.

Tommy Dahl is a long-time favorite performer with the North Battleford Big Band, and a regular at the Saskatchewan International Jazz Festival. Tommy recently went home to Winnipeg, but returns to Saskatchewan for this tour. He has played keyboards, written and arranged musical works and album projects for Lorrie Church, Lisa dal Bello, Angela Kelman (helping her to form Farmer’s Daughter) and Wilma Groenen. He dazzles audiences with his amazing honky-tonk and boogie-woogie playing skills. He also sings and is a talented arranger, and performs on and is arranger/producer of Life Sentences. With his BA Honours in Psychology, Tommy also contributes 17 years of experience and skills in an addictions counselor and program facilitator at Saskatchewan Young Offenders and Federal Corrections in Manitoba.
