"I LOVE it! The music, the sound and the persona of you and the combo is sassy, smooth and hip. I would expect nothing less. The attitude comes through so clearly, and it is unabashedly your own and the group's. And it's confident without any cockiness. Your vocals combine a tension that stretches between strength at one end and vulnerability at the other. The instrumentals shine a spotlight on these traits at all the right times, and yet never fail to betray the fun that you all must have been having in the process of putting this together."
Andrew Shaindlin, Executive Director, Alumni Association, CalTech University, Pasadena, CA

"Thanks a million--you guys were AMAZING!"
Sarah Beck, Manager, 2nd Avenue Grill (June 25, 2005 Gig)

"I have been a big fan of Suzannes for some time now, and if you don't know them or haven't heard them perform you are in for a big treat. Come out and buy her first album, her next one is about to be released soon and you'll get a preview of her newest tunes. The few I've heard so far will convert all listeners to fans immediately. Suzanne is a jazz singer that makes you feel like you are hearing the velvet throut of a the crooner And Tommy, well if you thought Kenny "Blues Boss" Wayne can play, wait till you hear this guy! Tommy's body english makes it obvious he truly is having "more fun than adults should be allowed". Their original tunes are infectious."
Gord MacAulay, Board Member, Saskatoon Blues Society

"With a distinctive and refreshingly original vocal style, Suzanne Paschall floats effortlessly from track to track on her newest album. With stellar arrangements and musical performance as her backdrop Suzanne takes her listeners on a world wide musical journey; from soulful gospel ballads to down and dirty honky tonk; sexy salsas to sultry smoke-filled jazz. Notable standout performance: "Sin of Eve", a track that would give both Jane Siberry and Joni Mitchell goose bumps."
Dave Taylor, Musician/Producer, Regina, SK

"Would I buy the album? Most definitely, and would recommend it to everyone I know. I love it!!! I've listened to it many times and like it more each time. When complete this would definitely be in my favorite albums section!"
Grant Whitecross, businessman, Saskatoon

"Brings to mind Dianna Krall singing in improbable shoes. I dig it - especially the toot toots. I know I'm not a music-brain or anything but as a gal who loves good tunes... you AMAZE me. Way to go…"
Pam Bustin, novelist/playwright, Windsor, ON

"You have a real knack for slipping some really good hooks into all kinds of tunes i.e. cut #1. So, I really enjoy listening to your songs for both the melody & lyrics and can hardly wait to see you perform again."
Chris Jones, former artistic director, Broadway Theatre; Marketing Director, Saskatchewan Crafts Council

"…you have managed to invoke some even deeper feelings with the contents of this CD. Without a doubt, this is some of the best musical work I've heard in a very, very long time."
Dave Williams, musician, Austin, TX

"You are one amazing woman. What a fantastic night that was. You remind me of Bette Midler and you SING wayyyyy better than Diana Krall. Tommy's AMAZING, BRILLIANT...and the rest of the band is great too, esp. that sax player. Well done. Glad you're booked at the Fringe. I'll be there to watch you bring the house down…"
Shelley Kaszefski, Communications Director 25th Street Theatre

"Suzanne Paschall's voice is like raw silk dipped in fine brandy and toasted over a colourful musical pallet. Add that to her considerable talent as a songwriter and you have the recipe for success."
Danny Fortier, Songwriter/Musician, Saskatoon, SK

"I am enjoying your CD very much. It has gone with me in my many travels and enriched my inner space. Your voice is rich and lovely...congratulations on this CD. All my best wishes as you blossom as one of Canada's finest singers..."
Louise Forsyth, Fernie, BC

"Hey, I just got a chance to check out your album. Wow, you are amazing. That sounds great! Definitely will be picking up one of those CD's!"
Paul Ahluwalia, Victoria, BC

"My favourite song is Cuba Libra... it makes me want to dim the lights and just tango my little heart out! The latin rhythm and your smoky voice make me feel like I'm in a Spanish club in someplace muggy and tropical. The brass section is just the icing on the cake. And so many clever little moments in your songwriting... what a unique and refreshing balance. In many of your songs I am picturing you in some 40's jazz club crooning to an ensemble under a hypnotic spell. I am so very impressed, Suzanne."
Bonnie Clark, Saskatoon, SK

"I thoroughly enjoy Life Sentences and have played it several times (including for others!)...I find myself humming ‘Tea & Sympathy’ quite often."
Ruth Kinzle, Saskatoon, SK

"I was very glad to have met you at Her-icane and was very impressed with your voice and musicianship. You’ve got loads of talent, and SOUL, m'dear, which is of course, in my opinion, worth gold!!!! I hope you keep giving us your gift."
Mary Barry, jazz performer, Vancouver

"Terrific! You have a marvelous voice!"
Paul Fraumeni, freelance writer, Toronto

"I didn't know you had such a lovely voice, sweet but raspy with a little bit of smoke. I know I've heard you sing, but it's been awhile. You need to go on a cross-country tour and do the Vancouver scene."
Bill Koty, professor, UBC, Vancouver

"I love YOUR voice ... so many different sounds. Very rich and satisfying. Seriously ... you're an entree and definitely not just a dessert. Incredible range and control. Wonderful set. Really great lyrics."
Dani Van Driel, communications consultant, Saskatoon

"This is just a short note to say how much I enjoyed myself tonight/this evening. As you saw, you are a "draw". Let me know when you're performing and I'll try to be there again and again."
Bob Eaton, Saskatoon Jazz Festival talent consultant

"So I went to the musical Suzanne site. Amazing. Love the stuff. Wow. You sound so smooth, comfortable, and soothing, in all. Nice going."
